Kaeson Technology Limited (“we,” “us,” or “Operator”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the Zapi mobile application (the “App”).

Please read this Policy before using the App. By starting or continuing to use the App, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using and uninstall the App.

This Policy applies to the App and related services unless a separate notice applies to a specific product.


2. What the App Does (and Why We Process Data)

The App provides: web browsing, search (built-in and third-party engines), home featured content, bookmarks, history, multi-tabs, settings, feedback, log upload (when you initiate it), and links to third-party apps.

We process information only as needed to provide these features, display ads, keep the App secure, and improve your experience. We follow principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, and data minimization.

You may disable permissions in device settings; some features may not work.

3.5 Advertising

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Ad partners may collect device identifiers and usage data to deliver and measure ads. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings (e.g., Limit Ad Tracking on iOS). See [Google’s Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).


4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

Provide core features (browse, search, bookmarks, history, tabs, home content);

Display and measure advertising (AdMob);

Security and compliance (fraud prevention, abuse detection, app store requirements);

Improve the App (Firebase analytics, crash fixes, performance);

Customer support (feedback and inquiries);

Legal obligations (lawful requests from authorities).


5. Storage and Retention

5.1 Local browsing data: Bookmarks, browsing history, search records, and tab information are stored only on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

5.2 Other data: Information collected through Firebase, AdMob, or when you voluntarily submit feedback or logs may be processed by us or the providers listed in Section 7. We retain such information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

5.3 Uninstalling the App or clearing data may delete local records—back up important bookmarks yourself.


6. Sharing, Sale, and Disclosure

6.1 We Do Not Sell Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:

7. Third-Party Services and SDKs

7.1 Pages, ads, featured links, and third-party app links may be operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Other libraries used in the App (e.g., local database, networking, UI components) process data on your device or as part of app functionality and do not independently collect personal information for their vendors in the manner above.


8. Your Privacy Rights (United States)

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights including access, deletion, correction, opt-out of sale/sharing (we do not sell personal information), and non-discrimination.

California (CCPA/CPRA): Submit requests to [email protected]. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days (extendable as permitted).

How to exercise rights: Email [email protected]. You may also uninstall the App and clear local data to remove locally stored browsing information.


9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some states where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have collected such data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.


10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., HTTPS, access controls, monitoring). No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. Please protect your device and credentials.


11. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified via in-app notice or our website at https://www.zapiapp.com. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
